What happens during the Homeopathic Consultation?
The initial homeopathic consultation will take approx. 90 minutes, in which you will be asked questions about your physical, mental and emotional health, energy levels, preferences and fears. To be able to find the right remedy I consider not only the existing condition but also your nature. Are you affected by environmental factors; how do you cope with stress; do you have food desires and aversions; moods and temperament as well as your personal and family medical history will all help to establish a complete picture.
I then relate all the information to prescribe the most similar remedy. It will be usually given as little pills or in liquid form.
A follow-up consultation will be arranged usually within 4 weeks to allow the remedy to act and to be able to assess the effect it had. This appointment will take approximately 30-45 minutes.
Although a fairly immediate reaction to the remedy should be expected (especially in acute illness), it is important to understand that treatment of chronic conditions will not be a “quick fix”, but will possibly require many months of careful homeopathic prescribing. The results, however, speak for themselves.
I am always available for telephone consultation during your treatment, if you have any questions or concerns. Please be aware that an additional fee may incur as specified further below.
If you cannot get hold of me during an acute situation you can ring the Homeopathic Helpline on 09065 343404. This is a BT premium rate number for professional advice, and the maximum call duration is usually 10 minutes and is frequently much shorter, the charge is £1.55 per minute.
Alternatively – in urgent cases – contact your GP, NHS Direct or the emergency service. Please do not hesitate if you think the situation is critical.
